Move past your past.
Trauma/EMDR Therapy in Concord, MA.
You’re tired of feeling stuck in old patterns and want support that gets to the root.
If past experiences keep showing up as anxiety, flashbacks, tension, or patterns you can’t shake, EMDR can help process them and give you relief. It’s for anyone ready to stop surviving and start feeling more present and in control.
Sound like you?
Struggling with patterns in relationships or behaviors that you can’t seem to change?
Tired of feeling stuck in the same loops, even after trying to “move on”?
Tired of trying to talk your way through trauma that never seems to fully resolve?
Struggling with memories or experiences that still fee “alive” in your body, even years later?
Here’s what we’ll do together
Therapy can help you process past trauma and release what’s been holding you back
Healing from trauma isn’t about forgetting what happened. It's about helping your mind and body realize that the danger has passed, and that you’re safe now. Trauma therapy creates a compassionate space to explore what you’ve been carrying, at a pace that feels right for you. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck, hypervigilant, disconnected, or exhausted from trying to manage the impact of painful experiences on their own. Together, we’ll work to restore a sense of safety, trust, and calm in your body and mind.
A core part of this work often involves Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based approach that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer feel as overwhelming. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation such as eye movements, tapping, or sound to help your brain integrate what happened, reducing emotional intensity and allowing you to move forward with greater ease. This process can be deeply effective for trauma, anxiety, panic, grief, and other experiences that continue to affect your daily life.
For clients seeking more focused healing, I also offer EMDR Intensives which are extended sessions typically lasting 3-6 hours and sometimes multiple times a week. They are designed to accelerate trauma processing and healing more quickly than traditional talk therapy. Intensives can be especially helpful if you want to work through a specific memory, issue, or pattern in a concentrated period of time, or if your schedule makes weekly sessions difficult.
If you’re already working with another therapist and would like to focus specifically on trauma processing, Adjunct EMDR Therapy may be a good option. In this collaborative model, I work alongside your primary therapist to provide targeted EMDR sessions aimed at resolving stuck points or triggers that may be slowing progress. Once that processing is complete, you return to your ongoing therapy with renewed clarity and capacity for healing.
Whether through weekly sessions, intensives, or adjunct work, EMDR and trauma therapy offer a path toward relief and connection.
At the end of the day, I want you to know:
Past experiences don’t have to continue holding you back. Healing is possible and you don’t have to do it alone.

FAQs
-
No. EMDR can still be effective even if certain parts of your memory are unclear or incomplete. We focus on the feelings, body sensations, and emotional themes that are present for you now.
-
Not at all. EMDR helps with both major traumatic events and experiences that built up over time such as childhood emotional neglect, relationship patterns, anxiety, or chronic stress.
-
If past experiences are affecting how you feel, react, or relate to others today, EMDR may be a good fit. We’ll talk through your history and goals to determine whether EMDR, another approach, or a combination would best support your healing.
