You’re tired of feeling stuck in old patterns and want support that gets to the root.

If past trauma keeps showing up as anxiety, tension, flashbacks, or patterns you can’t shake, therapy can help you process it and find relief. Using evidence-based approaches including EMDR when appropriate we work to help you feel more grounded, present, and in control.

Sound like you?

Struggling with patterns in relationships or behaviors that you can’t seem to change?

Tired of feeling stuck in the same loops, even after trying to “move on”?

Tired of trying to talk your way through trauma that never seems to fully resolve?

Struggling with memories or experiences that still fee “alive” in your body, even years later?

Here’s what we’ll do together

Therapy can help you process past trauma and release what’s been holding you back

Healing from trauma isn’t about forgetting what happened. It’s about helping your mind and body recognize that the danger has passed and that you’re safe now. Trauma therapy provides a compassionate space to explore what you’ve been carrying, at a pace that feels right for you. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck, hypervigilant, disconnected, or exhausted from trying to manage the impact of painful experiences on their own. Together, we work to restore a sense of safety, trust, and calm in both body and mind.

In our work, I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, including psychodynamic therapy to understand the origins of patterns, Internal Family Systems (IFS) principles to connect with and support the parts of you that carry fear or self-criticism, and EMDR to help process distressing experiences. This combination allows us to address both the underlying roots of trauma and the day-to-day impact it has on your life.

For clients seeking a more concentrated approach, EMDR Intensives offer extended sessions over several hours or multiple sessions in a week, designed to accelerate processing and healing. For those already working with another therapist, Adjunct EMDR Therapy can be a collaborative option, focusing on stuck points or triggers alongside your ongoing therapy.

Whether through weekly sessions, intensives, or adjunct work, trauma therapy provides a path toward relief, clarity, and a greater sense of connection to yourself and your life.

At the end of the day, I want you to know:

Past experiences don’t have to continue holding you back. Healing is possible and you don’t have to do it alone.

FAQs

  • Trauma therapy can help anyone who has experienced events that continue to affect their daily life whether that shows up as anxiety, flashbacks, hypervigilance, difficulty trusting others, or feeling stuck in patterns. You don’t have to have experienced extreme trauma to benefit; even repeated stress or relational wounds can create patterns that therapy can address.

  • Trauma therapy moves at a pace that respects your boundaries. We focus on building safety, trust, and grounding skills before processing difficult experiences. You are in control of what we work on, and the goal is always to feel supported, not overwhelmed.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based approach that helps your brain reprocess distressing memories so they feel less overwhelming. It can be highly effective for trauma, anxiety, panic, grief, and other experiences that continue to impact daily life.
