You’ve tried everything you can think of to feel better, but nothing’s sticking.

Feeling frustrated because talk therapy hasn’t fully helped? EMDR can help you move through trauma that words alone can’t resolve, giving your mind and body a chance to truly let go.

EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps your brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer feel overwhelming. Using guided bilateral stimulation, like eye movements, tapping, or sound, EMDR allows your mind to integrate past experiences safely, reducing emotional intensity and creating space for lasting relief.

For clients seeking more focused healing, I also offer EMDR Intensives which are extended sessions typically lasting 3-6 hours and sometimes multiple times a week. They are designed to accelerate trauma processing and healing more quickly than traditional talk therapy. Intensives can be especially helpful if you want to work through a specific memory, issue, or pattern in a concentrated period of time, or if your schedule makes weekly sessions difficult.

If you’re already working with another therapist and would like to focus specifically on trauma processing, Adjunct EMDR Therapy may be a good option. In this collaborative model, I work alongside your primary therapist to provide targeted EMDR sessions aimed at resolving stuck points or triggers that may be slowing progress. Once that processing is complete, you return to your ongoing therapy with renewed clarity and capacity for healing.

Whether through weekly sessions, intensives, or adjunct work, EMDR and trauma therapy offer a path toward relief and connection.

EMDR therapy can help you feel more grounded, present, and like yourself again.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy designed to help your brain process distressing memories, experiences, or patterns that continue to affect your daily life. When traumatic or overwhelming events aren’t fully processed, they can get “stuck” in the nervous system, leading to anxiety, flashbacks, tension, or repetitive patterns. EMDR helps your mind safely reprocess these experiences using guided bilateral stimulation such as eye movements, tapping, or sound so they lose their intensity and emotional charge. Over time, this allows you to respond to past events with clarity, calm, and greater control.

  • During EMDR, you’ll focus on a specific memory or experience while following a set of guided prompts. Sessions move at a pace that feels safe and manageable, allowing you to process emotions without becoming overwhelmed. You’ll often gain new insights, develop coping strategies, and notice shifts in how you feel about past experiences.

  • EMDR can help you reduce the impact of trauma, anxiety, panic, grief, or other distressing experiences. It helps your brain reprocess memories so they no longer trigger overwhelming emotions, allowing you to feel calmer, more present, and more in control of your life.

  • No. EMDR does not require you to relive or talk through your trauma in detail. You will focus on the memory or experience at a pace that feels safe, and the therapy uses structured techniques including bilateral stimulation to help your brain process the event. Many people find EMDR especially appealing for this reason, as it allows healing and relief without needing to fully verbalize every detail of what happened.
